TNA Wrestling recently made a big play to sign former WWE Champion Alberto del Rio and made a very serious money offer, rumored to be a one-year deal for $400,000 according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The report notes that the company are reportedly asking for exclusivity, which would be a problem as Del Rio is planning to work with Lucha Underground in 2015 and already has dates set with Ring of Honor until March 2015 at the latest, which may lead to TNA dropping the request for exclusivity, or upping their offer to get Del Rio signed to an exclusive deal after Del Rio is finished with his commitments to Ring of Honor.

The report states that the company are trying hard to get Del Rio locked in before their debut on Destination America due to John Gaburick working closely with him during their time in WWE and that TNA Wrestling are selling Del Rio on the idea that he will have more US TV exposure with TNA than with anyone else (outside of the WWE).
