Ring of Honor Wrestling star Tommaso Ciampa noted on his official Twitter account that he is scheduled for surgery next week on his torn ACL and torn meniscus with Dr. Asnis, the head surgeon for the Boston Bruins.

“Surgery is officially set up for Wednesday, September 26th with Dr. Asnis (the head surgeon for the Boston Bruins). #countdown #1week”

As noted previously on the website, the injury and recovery from surgery is expected to keep Ciampa out of in-ring action for up to a year.
