In an update on several TNA Wrestling topics, according to a report from PWInsider.com, there are a lot of people within the company worried that TNA’s current deal with Spike TV will not be renewed when it expires this year.

The report also notes that TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter recently held a meeting with several employees at TNA’s offices in Nashville, Tennessee and asked why the morale was low in the company and was told that it was down to recent cutbacks, while there’s also a feeling amongst many in the company that John Gaburick is “in over his head” as he has been working on the creative side of things, a role he never held during his time working with the WWE. Speaking of Gaburick, former WWE Vice President of Reality, Promotions and Special Projects Doug Lebow has been working with TNA on the production side and other aspects of the company and is described as a well-liked individual and is also seen as Gaburick’s right-hand man based off their past together. Meanwhile, several of the employees were also said to be surprised when Janice Carter was at the meetings in Nashville, as Janice usually stays at home in Texas and allows Dixie to run things from Nashville.

The report goes on to note that at the same meeting Dixie held with the company’s employees in Nashville, she questioned why TNA Wrestling didn’t have a presence in New Orleans during WrestleMania 30 weekend and that there’s a feeling right now in the company that they need someone to push open doors and make things happen and that the company is “just there” and doesn’t have momentum.

In regards to the creative side of things, there are many people within the company that were once in the know that are starting to become upset at how things are being kept a secret creatively now, with Eric Young’s TNA World Heavyweight Championship a key part of the current way TNA are blocking things from leaking out.
