In an update to the planned Extreme Reunion event involving “The Franchise” Shane Douglas, scheduled to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 28th, the event is not being planned as a one night event as had seemed and is instead being planned to run as a regular series of events using names familiar to old ECW fans as well as some new names that would make sense for the product, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

With the new additions coming in, the plan is to create new storylines using the mix of stars. The event on April 28th has already sold out sections of the front row, going for $100 a ticket without anyone else announced as of writing. That $100 includes a take home chair from the event also. Johnson also notes that a lot of names will be announced in the coming weeks and that the original plan was to hold it in the former ECW Arena, however the event was moved to the Philadelphia National Guard Armory which can hold more of an attendance.

Steve O’Neill, the production and creative head of the Urban Wrestling Federation is involved with the show, with Shane Douglas working on the creative aspect and Kevin Klinerock, also of the Urban Wrestling Federation and Wrestling Society X working on the production side of things.

A website has been launched at www.ExtremeReunion.net with Wrestling Bus Trips planning a bus trip to the event. More details on the that can be found by e-mailing wrestlingbustrips@gmail.com.
