While original plans had Brock Lesnar defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena at the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Wrestling-News.Net has learned that as of writing, the match will instead be pushed up to the WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view and will be the blowoff to the long feud between the two, as the company will begin the planning for the push towards the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view the following night.

The call for the change is that of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who had been going back and forth since early September on whether or not to have Lesnar face Cena at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view or keep them apart for a while and end it at a later date, the latter of which is now happening.

As evidenced by the WWE Survivor Series commercial, Brock Lesnar will not be appearing at the event, but is advertised to appear at the December 8th edition of WWE RAW which is the 2014 WWE Slammy Awards show, leading to the belief that it will re-ignite the Lesnar/Cena feud and result in the match at the TLC pay-per-view.
