In an update on current plans for the brand extension in WWE following the announcement that WWE SmackDown will be moving to Tuesday nights and going live as of July 19th, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that as things stand, the draft is likely to take place on the July 11th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, however nothing is official at this time.

The report notes that as far as the talent split goes, there are those within the company who want a hard split like the first-ever WWE draft, while others want there to be a softer line drawn with the top stars making appearances on both shows and that Roman Reigns will be the main star for WWE RAW which will be controlled by Stephanie McMahon, while John Cena will be the main star for WWE SmackDown which will be controlled by Shane McMahon.

The report also states that the title situation is currently up in the air as WWE want to have two World Championships, with plans in place to introduce the second World Championship, while the tentative plan is for the Women’s Championship to be on both brands, with the Champion appearing on both shows, the same plans for the WWE Tag Team Championships, however the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE United States Championship will each be tied to one show.
