In an update on the shooting at the WWE Performance Center yesterday, the WWE internally sent out word that absolutely no one should comment about the incident publicly via social media or if they are asked as the company wants any information to come from the local authorities.

According to a report from WFTV in Orlando, friends of 29-year-old Armando Alejandro Montalvo, the man that was shot by two plain-clothed detectives said that while he has had some problems mentally, they did not expect something like the incident to happen. The shooting incident that left Montalvo requiring surgery has been the third incident involving Montalvo recently, as two weeks ago he was seen to be swinging a chain.

There is a video circulating on social media of Montalvo speaking about former WWE Diva AJ Lee, however the subject of his interest appears to be WWE Hall of Famer Amy “Lita” Dumas who had been working of late at the WWE Performance Center training WWE Tough Enough competitors.

According to a report from News 6 in Orlando, Montalvo was arrested on August 4th near the facility and was in possession of a huge sign for Lita. WWE took out an inunction against Montalvo, however when they attempted to have it served at his home on August 18th, his mother refused to take it.
