In an update on the TNA Wrestling vs. Scott Steiner lawsuit, a report from PWInsider.com notes that the jury trial for the lawsuit TNA has brought against Steiner has been pushed back to June 2015 and that the lawsuit was scheduled to go to trial earlier this month, but was then pushed back during a pre-trial hearing.

For those unfamiliar with the story, TNA Wrestling sued Scott Steiner in June 2012, claiming that he breached his TNA contract (which by that point was expired), by making disparaging remarks about the company, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard among others and are seeking damages and an injunction to stop Steiner speaking out. Responding to the claim by the company, Steiner denied that he ever agreed to not disparage the company, that speaking out against it would breach his deal, that he was involved in a concerted effort to disparage the company and its officers, that he ignored requests to stop, that he is in a legal and binding agreement with TNA and that TNA has suffered damages as a result of his actions.

Steiner also noted that his deal with the company expired and while he was offered a new deal, he opted to turn it down and never executed the deal with TNA Wrestling.
