In an update on the arrest of former WWE, WCW and TNA Wrestling superstar Scott Hall, a report from entertainment website TMZ notes that Hall was arrested on Friday after he allegedly choked out his girlfriend in a drunken fit of rage, according to the arrest report that was obtained.

The report notes that police officers were called to the house of Hall over a domestic disturbance at approximately 5pm and when they arrived, Hall’s girlfriend Lisa Howell informed them that he had attacked her, that he had been drinking for days, that the two had an arguement and as she attempted to drive away in her car, Scott in a blind rage, grabbed her by the throat and tried to pull her out of the driver’s seat.

When police confronted Hall who was heavily intoxicated and apparently frothing from the mouth, he denied Howell’s claims that he was violent, however police officers observed several signs of physical harm including marks on Howell’s neck, which prompted them to place Hall under arrest for domestic battery.

Hall was so drunk that the local jail refused to book him, which meant that the arresting officer had to bring Hall to a nearby hospital to get medical clearance and when he was given clearance, he was finally booked on the charge. Howell has refused to press charges and it is unclear if the case will move forward. More is available at this link.
