In an update on Alex Shelley’s TNA departure, the WWE have yet to formally send a contract to Shelley, however there is an interest from the company in signing him if he is available. Shelley plans on taking a short break before any negotiations with the WWE take place and he wants to head to the main roster instead of spending time in WWE’s developmental territory.

Meanwhile, Shelley’s fellow Motor City Machine Guns tag partner Chris Sabin is another name that is reported to be leaving TNA Wrestling when his contract expires in August. It will be interesting to see, should Sabin depart TNA Wrestling, if the WWE will pick them up as a tag team to try and revitalize their tag division.
