– Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel was not able to defend his title last Sunday at the Hell In A Cell Kick-Off Show, and it was reported that he injured his hip the week before on WWE RAW. Axel may be returning tonight to the WWE SmackDown taping in Tampa Bay, FL. Axel posted the following on his official Twitter account:
