The state of Minnesota, which has never hosted a WrestleMania pay-per-view, may get the opportunity to do so in 2017, according to a report from The Minnesota St. Paul Business Journal.

The report notes that officials from the state, which is famous for the birth of the AWA, intend to make a major bid to bring the WrestleMania 33 pay-per-view to the new Minnesota Vikings Stadium.

While no official bids have been made as of writing, there has been a lot of talk about the company potentially returning to Orlando and making a return to Canada down the line.
