In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Stephanie McMahon noted that representatives for WWE Studios are planning on attending the annual Sundance Film Festival which runs from January 19th to January 29th in Park City, Utah to potentially acquire new movies for WWE.

McMahon stated that the company recently held a planning meeting with new WWE Studios head Michael Luisi about potential acquisitions and that they’re in post production right now on No One Lives, which will feature WWE RAW superstar, Brodus Clay and that they have discussed going to Sundance to see what they can acquire. Stephanie then brought up that the company acquired “The Day” at the Toronto Film Festival in September and that it’s part of a revised strategy in the company to co-produce their own movies and acquire other movies for distribution.
