WWE have released developmental announcer Chris Russo from his deal with the company. Russo had been doing commentary work for Florida Championship Wrestling television as well as WWE NXT and was the in-ring announcer on various weeks.

For those that may be wondering, Chris is not related in any way to former WWE, WCW and TNA creative member Vince Russo.
