WWE recently made a change to this year’s WWE Hall of Fame plans and it is now expected that Ray “The Crippler” Stevens will not be inducted this year and that instead, Japanese wrestling legend Tatsumi Fujinami will get the nod.

According to a report from PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson had been pushing for Stevens to be inducted this year due to his history with the Bay Area where WrestleMania 31 is being held and that it was expected that Patterson would do the induction also, however Stevens will not be inducted this year and will likely enter the Hall of Fame at a later date.

Meanwhile, it is expected that former WWE and WCW superstar Kevin Nash will be announced for the Hall of Fame either next Monday or the following Monday and will be going in under his “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel persona and not under his real name, which potentially opens up the door for Nash to become a two-time WWE Hall of Famer down the line when the nWo get inducted. Nash’s induction is expected to close out this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, while Shawn Michaels is currently planned to do the induction.
