WWE recently changed plans for former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan at this year’s WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsleter.

The report notes that original plans called for Sheamus and Daniel Bryan to work a match at the event, but that the company changed their minds and that the Twitter interactions between Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan are not just social media interaction, as the company have now pushed ahead with plans for a match between the two at WrestleMania.

The report also notes that there is talk that a Battle Royal match will take place again at WrestleMania this year to allow certain talents to work the pay-per-view, however there is no word as to whether that will be another Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, as the talk prior to WrestleMania 30 last year was to make that match an annual part of the company’s biggest event of the year.
