WWE SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan was shown backstage with a production crew member, telling him that his referee’s shirt was way too big and that it could probably fit someone like Earthquake. WWE SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon came in and said that maybe Bryan should take himself out of the match and asked what is going through Bryan’s head. Bryan said that he inserted himself into the match to protect the integrity of SmackDown Live and that Shane McMahon is holding a grudge against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Fatal Four Way Match For The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships
The Uso’s (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) (c) defeated The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) (w/Xavier Woods), Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin and Aiden English & Rusev.
Lumberjack Match For The WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) defeated Natalya. Post-match, Natalya cut a promo stating that she did nothing wrong and that Charlotte Flair has used her family’s name to cut corners. Natalya said that she has given the WWE Universe some of the best matches that they have ever seen and has carried the entire division for 10 years, yet all of the fans have disrespected her. Natalya said that everyone wants to turn their back on her, but now, she is turning her back on everyone and cried as she walked to the back.
