WWE officials are discussing the possibility of the company running a Global Warning pay-per-view event that would take place next year in Australia, according to a report from James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet who notes that WWE want to top the 50,000 fans that they had for the event in Melbourne, Australia back in 2002.

The report notes that WWE have discussed running the event in October 2018 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, a venue that holds around 100,000 people and broadcasting it on pay-per-view and the WWE Network and while nothing official has been set quite yet, things are headed in the right direction.
