While WWE are yet to publicly comment on the matter, according to Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who claims to be a former WWE employee, the company are planning to drop the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The user noted that the word going around backstage at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings is that the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be no more and that the reason for the company dropping the pay-per-view is due to there being only one WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now and that while the pay-per-view could potentially be dropped, the match itself would be used at other events down the line, akin to the debut of the concept at the 2002 WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.

The early names going around are WWE Fast Lane or WWE Fast Track.
