In case you missed it, NXT Diva Eva Marie made her return to Raw coming to the aid of Team Total Divas on Raw this week. All 4 members of said team were visibly shocked and irritated at her return. Coincidentally, it may not have actually been towards her, but her reaction. According to Dave Meltzer, the WWE brass thought the WWE Universe and NXT Universe were two separate entities, and thought differently from one another, and actually expected Marie to be perceived as a hero upon her return, and that her negative reaction in NXT was “an NXT thing”. As we saw Monday, that wasn’t the case, and the fans in Brooklyn were highly displeased with Eva Marie’s return and let WWE hear it on Raw. Below is the video of her return:
