According to a report from Deadline.com, WWE Studios and IM Global will be partnering on a new $30 million movie project titled “Dead Man Down” which will begin filming next week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will star Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper, while the movie will be directed by Niels Arden Oplev of the original version of “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.

WWE will be involved in the financial side of the movie, which will be promoted via the company’s television shows such as RAW, NXT, Superstars and SmackDown, as well as on pay-per-view upon its release and is said to be part of the company’s change of directions in regards to movies, as WWE Studios’ Michael Luisi puts foward his plans on changing the company’s strategy and the way the go about acquiring and co-financing several movies.
