WWE NAMES BARRY MCMULLIN HEAD OF SALES & PARTNERSHIP MARKETING

STAMFORD, Conn., July 28, 2014 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced the appointment of Barry McMullin as Senior Vice President of Sales & Partnership Marketing. McMullin, who previously held senior level sales positions at the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR), Wasserman Media Group, the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, will report directly to WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer, Michelle D. Wilson.

As head of WWE’s Sales & Partnership Marketing division, McMullin will be a key member of the company’s senior management team. He will be responsible for providing strategic vision for WWE’s global sales operation and WWE® Network sales strategies, as well as ensuring revenue growth is aligned with company objectives.

McMullin brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic sales and marketing across a variety of major sports and entertainment brands. Prior to joining WWE, McMullin was PBR’s Senior Vice President, Partnerships, where he led the company’s local and national sales team in identifying new business opportunities and renewing current partnerships. During his time at PBR, McMullin secured new partnerships with Pabst Blue Ribbon, Monster Energy Drink, Tyson Foods and Dr. Pepper.

Prior to PBR McMullin was Vice President at Wasserman Media Group, where he was part of the team that helped secure marketing partnerships with MetLife, Anheuser-Busch, Verizon and Pepsi on behalf of the New York Giants, New York Jets and Meadowlands Stadium.

McMullin also spent time at the National Basketball Association as Director of New Business Development and Vice President of Team Marketing, where he sold marketing partnerships for NBA All-Star Weekend and the NBA Finals. He was a member of the executive team that launched the NBA’s Development League and was the NBA Development League Team President of the Columbus (GA) Riverdragons.

McMullin began his sports sponsorship career as Manager of Sponsorships and Licensing for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. During that time, McMullin played an integral part in securing several national and local partnerships with Herman Miller, Cardinal Health and OC Tanner. McMullin graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
