The June 6th WWE NXT live event, which is scheduled to take place at the Manchester Arena may be cancelled as WWE are consulting with local officials in Manchester, England to determine the appropriate course of action as to whether the event should go ahead or not following the bombings at an Ariana Grande concert on Monday night at the venue which killed 22 people and left almost 60injured.

In a statement released to TMZ, a WWE representative noted, “WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to those affected by this tragedy. We are working with local authorities on the appropriate course of action as it relates to our event scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 at the Manchester Arena.”

WWE will be holding NXT events on June 5th in Aberdeen, Scotland, on June 7th in Leeds, England and on June 8th in Brighton, England and will also be part of the annual Download Festival. Manchester Arena officials meanwhile have cancelled all concerts that were planned for the coming week.
