CM Punk makes his way to the ring and talks about how the wrestling business is unpredictable, and how sometimes he doesn’t even know what he’s going to say when he grabs the mic. However, he goes on to say that his actions last week with Paul Heyman were predictable, as he got a beat down in his hometown. Punk says he’s been in a fighting mood lately, and he wants a fight tonight on RAW calling out Curtis Axel or Ryback. He doesn’t know when, but he will eventually put Paul Heyman out of his misery. It could be Sunday at Battleground or next Monday on RAW. RAW GM Brad Maddox interrupts Punk, and comes out to the ring and gets ridiculed by Punk for still not having any entrance music. Maddox tells Punk that it is not “best for business” for him to fight Ryback since they will meet this Sunday at the PPV. Big E. Langston’s music hits and he gets to the ring and asked Punk, “You want aggression,” and then attacks him. Maddox signals for a referee, and this match will be next after the commercial break.

He tells her they better have that wedding soon, because after this Sunday, Bryan won’t be able to walk.

Renee Young interviews Paul Heyman who goes on a rant on how CM Punk forgot how he helped make him the best in the world. Young tells Heyman that she has seen Ryback and Axel around Heyman all day, and asks him if he’s planning another trap for Punk? Heyman tells Punk to find his manhood and try and make a move on him tonight.

Another promo for Los Matadores is shown, and at the end it says that they are debuting next on RAW.

Tag Team Match
Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) (w/El Torito) defeated 3MB (Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal) (w/Drew McIntyre) by pin fall. Prior to the match, Los Matadores and El Torito had a well designed entrance to the ring.

Justin Roberts introduces the owner and COO of the WWE, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H to the ring as they have a “lucrative” proposal for the Rhodes family. Triple H tells the Rhodes that he doesn’t understand why they are so mad, and goes on to tell Dusty he was a failure in the WWE, just like Dustin failed to beat Randy Orton and get Cody’s job back. Stephanie lays out the proposal, and tells Cody and Dustin that they will both have a chance to get their jobs back in the WWE. If they choose to, they will face the Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reings this Sunday at Battleground. If they win, they’ll both get rehired by the WWE, but if they lose, they will never be able to work in the WWE again. In addition to not getting rehired, they’re father Dusty will get fired from his position as trainer in the WWE developmental promotion NXT. Dusty grabs the mic from Triple H, and tells him he will be in his son’s corner this Sunday, and then Stephanie warns him that if he’s looking for a fight, he’ll get one. Stephanie and Triple H exit the ring, leaving the Rhodes family in there, when The Shield hit the ring in a surprise attack. Reigns spears Dustin, and Cody gets attacked next by The Shield. Dusty grabs a steel chair from under the ring, and tries to make the save, but he get beaten down by The Shield as well. Cody Rhodes then gets triple power bombed in the center of the ring, as The Shield stands tall over the Rhodes family.

R-Truth defeated Curtis Axel (w/Paul Heyman) by pin fall.  The ending of the match saw CM Punk’s music hit and served as a distraction to Axel, leading to the pin fall. Punk never came out.

After the break, a video package is shown of Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan highlighting their engagement over the weekend.

Divas Match
Brie Bella (w/Nikki Bella) defeated Alicia Fox by pin fall.

Backstage Segment
Paul Heyman tries to calm a nervous Curtis Axel in the locker room, who is worried about CM Punk attacking him. Heyman tells him to relax, and Ryback walks in and wants to call out CM Punk. Heyman tells him to go grab something to eat, and he’ll meet him in a little bit. Heyman then tells Axel that he’s going to the ring to propose to Ryback? Wow, this angle is getting weird.

Renee Young interviews The Big Show who says that no one understand the situation he is in. He has done everything that Triple H and Stephanie have asked of him, including knocking out one of his idols in the business Dusty Rhodes. Big Show says he is fed up, and a crazed look comes over him, and he tells Renee that he’s going to find Triple H and “knock him the hell out!”

After the break, R-Truth is in Brad Maddox’s office wanting a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, when The Big Show comes in. He grabs Maddox by the throat and lifts him demanding to know where Triple H is. Maddox doesn’t know, and runs off.

In Ring Segment
Paul Heyman and Ryback make their way to the ring, and Heyman goes over what happened last week on RAW. He praises Ryback for saving him, and attacking CM Punk, while Ryback tells him he hates bullies. After that, the segment gets really creepy. Heyman tells Ryback, that we’re living in a new progressive society, and that he has been walking with a spring in his step ever since Ryback saved him. Heyman goes down to one knee in the middle of the ring, holds Ryback’s hand, and in proposal fashion asks Ryback if he’ll become a Heyman guy? Before we get the answer, CM Punk’s music hits, but again he doesn’t come out of the entrance ramp. Instead, Punk tries to attack from behind, coming through the crowd, however as he tries to hop the barricade he slipped and hurt his knee. The crowd is silent, not really knowing what to make of the situation, and a trainer is with Punk  outside of the ring. Just as Heyman approaches Punk, the plan is unveiled! Punk suckered us in, and grabs a kendo stick from under the ring and hits Heyman, Ryback and Axel who tried to run in and save them.

6-Man Tag Team Match
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) defeated Dolph Ziggler, Jimmy & Jey Uso by pin fall with a Spear.

Stephanie walks in, and tells the officers that she vouches for The Big Show, and that he has just been under a lot of stress lately. The officers leave, and Big Show gets the crazed look in his eyes again. He stands up, walks towards the wall where a framed Triple H DVD poster is hanging, and punches through the frame and wall.

Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton meet in the ring face to face for the last time before this Sunday’s pay-per-view Battleground. Jerry Lawler is in the ring, and congratulates Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella on their engagement over the weekend. Lawler plugs the Total Divas show, where they will show the engagement, he then introduces Daniel Bryan to the ring, followed by Randy Orton. Lawler reminds them it’s a verbal confrontation, and they have to wait till Sunday to fight. Orton starts off by thanking Bryan for turning him into the Viper that he is now, and not the one who cared what the fans thought of him.  Orton says he will win this Sunday, and calls Bryan smaller, weaker and a B+ goat face troll.  Bryan responds, and tells Orton he will regain the WWE Championship this Sunday, and leads the crowd in Yes chants. Orton gets personal, and tells Bryan he doesn’t know why Brie is marrying him, and that one day she will realize she is with a barn yard animal. Daniel Bryan attacks Randy Orton, and the fight goes to the outside where Orton gains the advantage. Orton has Bryan set up for his DDT from the apron to the floor, when Brie Bella comes running out pleading to Orton to stop. In front of Brie, Orton hits the DDT and then hits a RKO on the announce table. Bryan is laid out, and Brie is next to her fiance as Orton exits. RAW ends with referees and Brie attending to Daniel Bryan.
