WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels is introduced by ring announcer Justin Roberts, and HBK makes his way to the ring and grabs a microphone. Michaels talks about his personal ties in the upcoming Hell In A Cell, WWE Championship match, that he is the special referee for. He talks about training Daniel Bryan many years ago, his differences with Randy Orton, and being best friends with Triple H. He doesn’t like how the last pay-per-view Battleground ended, and he wants to crown a WWE Champion. Randy Orton’s music hits, and he interrupts Michaels. Orton says that Michaels resents him, because he is better than he ever was, but Michaels tells him that he just needs to worry about Daniel Bryan. Orton tells Michaels that if he “screws him over” at Hell In A Cell, there will be no coming back from what he does to him. Michaels isn’t intimidated, and tells Orton that he will kick his “pretty little face off his pretty little shoulders.” As HBK turns around to exit the ring, Orton grabs him and attempts an RKO, but Michaels counters it and goes for some sweet chin music. Orton avoids the kick and ducks to the outside of the ring, where the two have a stare down until The Miz runs down and attacks Orton. Their match is up next on RAW, after the commercial.

The winner of the “Beat the Clock” challenge will get to choose the stipulation for their HIAC match.
