– WWE have released James Bronson (Phil Friedman) from his developmental deal with the company. Bronson had been injured for quite some time. He is the son of Neil Friedman, the former President at Mattel and Toys R Us.

– WWE officials are high on Total Divas/WWE NXT talent Eva Marie, believing that she comes off very well on television and that they need to find an on-air role for her, even if her wrestling abilities are not up to scratch yet.

– Joey Mercury is said to be moving into a producer position on the main roster, while Nick Dinsmore (Eugene) is said to be taking over Mercury’s position at the WWE Performance Center. There are a lot of people in developmental excited about the addition of Dinsmore to the training staff.

– In an update on Tony Dawson’s WWE release, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the WWE felt that Dawson lacked the passion for pro wrestling and that Tom Phillips, who was hired around the same time as Dawson had surpassed Dawson in terms of commentating ability.

– There are many within the WWE not expecting Mickie James, Mr. Anderson or Hulk Hogan to be returning to the company anytime soon.

– In a Q&A session on his official website, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross said that he has no desire to go work for TNA Wrestling.
