WWE and Sinclair Broadcasting Group (the owners of Ring of Honor Wrestling) have recently discussed a potential buyout of Ring of Honor Wrestling in secret, according to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.

The report notes that both sides have been talking since January and that things have been slowly progressing, with the plan being a full takeover if the deal is made official and that this would include the weekly television show continuing to air, except it would be now only on the WWE Network.

The report also states that there is no word at this point as to whether all wrestlers on the ROH roster would continue to work with them if the takeover happens and that there is no actual deal on the table right now and that there has only been discussions, meaning that the buyout could potentially fall through if both sides can’t agree.
