WWE have reportedly communicated to some of their talent that they are willing to beat any offer on the table for “said talent” from rival promotions, with the company making the decision to beat all offers after Bandido signed with Ring of Honor over WWE, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The report notes that interestingly enough, WWE did not try to beat All Elite Wrestling’s offer to Chris Jericho, however talent have been told to present all paper offers that they receive from rival promotions if they want the WWE to beat it and in some cases, WWE has stated that they will even double the rival’s offer if the talent agrees to sign on the spot.

The report states that WWE are responding to all the reports recently that talent within the company may be looking to sign with rival promotions and that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon does not want an image to set in that talent want to leave the company as there is more money to be made outside of the WWE realm, which is leading to WWE becoming aggressive at locking talents down to new deals and pushing other talents on television due to fear that they will leave.

WWE are reportedly considering using a financial advantage that they have over rival promotions and stockpiling their talent roster, even if they do not use them for a certain period, for the sake of keeping those talents from signing elsewhere. The usual normality of a WWE contract is for that to last 3 years, however the company has offered 5 year deals to Kevin Owens and The Miz in recent times, which may become the new length of contract offered to talents.
