The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV taping. The taping took place on October 14th, 2014 at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama and will air on October 17th, 2014 at 8pm Eastern on SyFy.
In Ring Segment
Seth Rollins came out to open the show and said that the fans would sell out if given the opportunity and said that Dean Ambrose doesn’t belong inside Hell in a Cell, he should be in a straight jacket. Dolph Ziggler’s music hit and he came out and said that tonight, the fans want to see him and not Rollins, dropped the mic and hit Rollins with a dropkick.
Singles Match
Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler. Post-match, Dean Ambrose came out and talked about what he is going to do to Seth Rollins when the two of them are locked inside the Hell in a Cell structure. Kane’s music hit and he came out and announced that he will face Dean Ambrose later in the evening.
Singles Match
AJ Lee defeated Layla. Post-match, Alicia Fox attempted to attack AJ Lee, however AJ saw her coming. Paige hit the ring and hit the Rampaige on AJ. The cameras then cut backstage to a segment with Sheamus and The Uso’s. This was followed by another Wyatt Family vignette.
6 Man Tag Team Match
Sheamus & The Uso’s (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) defeated The Miz, Goldust & Stardust (w/Damien Sandow).
In Ring Segment
The Big Show came out to the ring and talked about how he is going to destroy Rusev at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. The Big Show then asked for Mark Henry to come to the ring and asked him to stay out of the match at the event, to which Henry said that he will. Rusev and Lana came out and cut a promo on the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
Singles Match
Nikki Bella defeated Naomi. The cameras cut backstage after this match where Renee Young interviewed Dean Ambrose before his match against Kane.
Singles Match
Dean Ambrose defeated Kane via DQ due to interference from Seth Rollins. Post-match, Kane and Seth Rollins attacked Ambrose. Kane hit Ambrose with the chokeslam, however when Rollins went for a curb stomp, Ambrose hit Kane with the steel chair, while Rollins made a quick escape to the entrance ramp to end the show.
