In an update on the backstage altercation at last week’s WWE SmackDown Live between Sin Cara and Simon Gotch of The Vaudevillains, Gotch is currently not on the road as initially scheduled for this weekend’s WWE live events, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

While it is unknown as to what exactly caused the altercation, Gotch reportedly lost the fight to Cara at catering prior to the SmackDown Live broadcast. There have been issues between Gotch and Sin Cara going back to their time down in NXT.

It should be noted that Sin Cara was drafted to WWE RAW during the WWE Draft on SmackDown Live, while The Vaudevillains were drafted to WWE SmackDown, meaning that Gotch and Sin Cara’s paths won’t be crossing that often for the WWE going forward.
