WWE will be returning to the United Center in Chicago, Illinois for the first time in over a decade on Saturday, March 3rd, with the date to be officially announced towards the end of this year, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that the reason for WWE not using the Allstate Arena is due to Monster Jam booking the arena for the entire week for monster truck events. WWE held the 1994 SummerSlam pay-per-view at the arena when it first opened and then ran live events there for a few years, before switching to mostly running events at the Allstate Arena.
