In an update on CM Punk’s standing with the company, the current word is that there has been no contact between both sides for several weeks and that Vince McMahon is allowing CM Punk his own personal space before attempting contact in regards to his deal which expires in July.

As of writing and while plans could change down the line, there is currently nothing pencilled in for Punk to appear at the WWE Payback pay-per-view in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

For those wondering if CM Punk could possibly appear for Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion or any promotion for that matter, the belief amongst everyone is that Punk isn’t interested in working in the professional wrestling scene outside of the WWE and would consider himself done with the business if he doesn’t return to the company.
