The WWE Network have pulled six documentaries from their streaming service, with one notable common factor among the removals.
The titles that have been removed are Bret Hart – The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be, Hart And Soul: Hart Family Anthology, WWE Top 50 Superstars, Greatest Rivalries: Bret vs. Shawn, Bret Hart: The Dungeon Collection and The Most Powerful Families In Wrestling.
As of writing, it is unknown as to why the above content was pulled, however it should be noted that while the WWE has ownership of the Stampede Wrestling library, Bret Hart also owns the rights to his matches from that same library which he purchased from his parents, prior to their passing. This issue has in the past led to the WWE Network pulling complete episodes of Stampede Wrestling shortly after they were uploaded to the streaming service, with the WWE Network only utilizing matches that do not feature Bret Hart appearing as neither side have come to an agreement on the usage of Bret Hart’s matches from that time period.
