In an update on the lawsuit Billy Jack Haynes brought against the WWE, a report from PWInsider.com notes that the company has until December 30th to answer the lawsuit or to file a motion to dismiss and once either of those are filed, the court in Portland, Oregon will begin moving forward with the case.

The report notes that the WWE has filed for a number of their attorneys, including Jerry McDevitt to be allowed to represent them in the case and that the 30 page lawsuit, designed to be similar to the one brought against the NFL by former players, alleges that the WWE has, for decades, subjected its wrestlers to extreme physical brutality that it knew, or should have known, caused long-term irreversible bodily damage including brain damage.
