The Actwres girl’Z promotion announced on their official Twitter account that Asahi had passed away at the age of 21 due to an unexpected accident.

Asahi last wrestled for the promotion as part of their January 31st event where she teamed with Yufa against the team of Kira An and Ayano Irie.

In addition to her appearances for Actwres girl’Z and Ice Ribbon Joshi Pro Wrestling, Asahi also appeared for promotions including PURE-J, Ganbare Pro Wrestling, World Woman Pro Wrestling Diana, Total Triumph Team, SEAdLINNNG, Active Advance Pro Wrestling, OZ Academy and Big Japan Pro Wrestling.

As a mark of respect, Actwres girl’Z have announced that their February 9th event has been postponed, with additional announcements to be made in the coming days.
