In an update on former WWE Champion Alberto del Rio (real name Jose Alberto Rodriguez Chucuan) being arrested recently for alleged sexual assault, a report from News 4 San Antonio has provided even further details on their earlier story.
The report notes that according to documents, the woman told investigators that Del Rio assaulted her on more than one occasion and that the most recent incident took place on May 3rd when Del Rio accused the woman of being unfaithful, to which she claimed that Del Rio became angry when she would not admit to the infidelity, so he slapped her twice, took her to his downstairs bedroom and slapped her a further eight times, made her put on a dress and dance for him, however she refused, which prompted him to tell her not to cry or that he would take her son and drop him off in the middle of the road somewhere.
The report adds that Del Rio then tied the woman’s hands with boxing straps, put a sock in her mouth and sexually assaulted her for several hours, including the use of various objects, while he also punched her in the back during the assault, causing visible injuries to which she does not remember much after he placed his hand around her throat.
Del Rio is charged with Sexual Assault, a second degree felony, which if found guilty, under Texas law, would see him serve a minimum prison sentence of 2 years, as well as a possible fine of up to $10,000.
