After it was announced on this past Monday’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, that current WWE Champion, Alberto del Rio, was featured in a recent interview with Hombre Magazine, the publication have posted highlights from the interview on their official website.

Regarding his career in the WWE, Del Rio seemed to indicate that his career will seemingly be a short one, noting that he wants to continue wrestling for 5 to 6 years, before moving into other forms of entertainment. Del Rio noted how he’s totally focused on the WWE and his wrestling career, but he’s always wanted to break out into other forms of entertainment and if the WWE invite him to do movies, soap operas or whatever in that time, then he’s willing to stick about.

Del Rio, who is the current WWE Champion on the RAW brand, noted that he is looking to make a potential return to WWE SmackDown down the line to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, however he plans on holding on to the WWE Championship for as long as possible. Del Rio noted how he wants to be the first Mexican to win everything in the WWE, from the Royal Rumble to Money in the Bank to the major titles.
