The AAA (Lucha Libre AAA) promotion in Mexico announced today that IMPACT Wrestling superstar Alberto El Patron will be appearing at their event, scheduled to take place on August 25th.

El Patron, who is reported to be out of contract just days after he faces Austin Aries at the IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view Redemption next month, recently held talks with WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon when El Patron, also known as Alberto del Rio, filmed material for an upcoming WWE project on Rey Mysterio.
