Former WWE superstar Aleister Black took part in a near-hour stream on Thea Trinidad’s official Twitch account where he discussed his release from the company among several other topics.

Black said that his release from the company was bittersweet and that he was told it was due to budget cuts, and put over several people who work in the company, including Vince McMahon, Triple H and Paul Heyman mentioning that he was thankful for his time there.

Black mentioned the amount of time that he sat at home, as well as the reports of him potentially returning to the WWE NXT brand, mentioning that he was praised for asking to possibly return to WWE NXT, but that Vince McMahon wanted to try out his character on the main roster once again.

Black went very in-depth during the interview and among other things noted that there was new music in place for his character and that a feud with Big E was originally scheduled to begin as of this Friday’s episode of SmackDown, while the plans for The Dark Father were to unfurl over time to where he would eventually explain the role and that the idea was mostly from his end.
