Alpha-1 Wrestling, the promotion owned by IMPACT World Tag Team Champion Ethan Page, issued a statement this evening regarding abuse in the wrestling business.

The statement, addressed under Page’s real name of Julian Micevski reads, “I’d like to apologize to our fans for hiring some of the talents being outed for their terrible acts during the Speaking Out movement. I’m embarrassed and ashamed to have brought such untrustworthy and vile ‘talents’ to our events and around the people I care most about. My family runs the front door, locker room and meet & greets. My closest friends and staff bring their wives, girlfriends and children to my events. My hometown fans mean the world to me. So these past few days have broke my heart. I take enormous pride in keeping our events safe for not only fans but staff as well and I promise to anyone reading this, I’ll continue to do so. If you hear anything, see anything or know anything you think can help me keep my promise, I’m always available at ethanpage@live.ca. I am truly sorry.”
