WWE NXT superstar Austin Aries suffered a large orbital fracture from the kick he received from Shinsuke Nakamura at the WWE NXT live event in California earlier this week, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that Aries is expected to undergo surgery later in the week in Birmingham, Alabama and will be out of action until the first quarter in 2017.
