Grammy Award-Winning musician and WrestleMania celebrity Bad Bunny has landed a major movie role, as he is scheduled to be the lead actor in the upcoming movie “El Muerto”, which is currently slated to be released on January 12th, 2024.

For those unfamiliar with the El Muerto character, he originally fought SpiderMan in a charity wrestling match, in which he nearly unmasked SpiderMan, before he was stung by SpiderMan with a paralyzing poison. Despite this, Muerto and SpiderMan later teamed up to defeat Dorado.

The character, from the MARVEL Universe, debuted in the sixth issue of The Friendly Neighborhood SpiderMan comic series, with this movie to be the sixth standalone film in SONY’s SpiderMan Universe.
