– “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, who was hospitalized earlier in the week with heart problems and pneumonia, was released from the hospital earlier today and as of writing, is expected to resume his work as an agent for the Traditional Championship Wrestling event this Saturday.

– In an update on some backstage changes in the WWE, Road Dogg and his brother Scott Armstrong have had their responbsibilites greatly increased in recent weeks. Road Dogg, who had been working as an agent and producer will continue in that role, but is now the head agent for the WWE Saturday Morning Slam TV show, helping the talent put together their matches for the show in a kid-friendly way. Meanwhile, referee Scott Armstrong has now been updated in his role to agent, producer and referee and is being used to help talents with their characters, promo work and putting together matches. Both men have been praised for their work as they are approachable to any superstar backstage and are willing to help the younger guys in the locker room.

– WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres is featured in an interview at this link discussing if she’d ever consider the jump into the MMA world due to her Gracie Jiu-Jitsu background. Eve noted that you can never say never in the business, but she can’t see herself making the jump, stating that she enjoys the sport aspect of MMA and loves learning and growing in her training and testing herself and that for her on a personal level, it’s the self defense aspect of it that she loves.

– WWE Hall of Famer “Iron” Mike Tyson recently signed a book deal with Blue Rider Press. The deal will see a printed version of his one-man show “The Undisputed Truth” become available on bookshelves in Summer 2013.

– As we noted in the spoiler results on Tuesday, WWE superstar Johnny Curtis worked a dark match against independent wrestler Drew Haskins prior to the WWE SmackDown tapings. Curtis debuted a new “ballroom dancer” gimmick, however it is unknown as to whether he will be testing out a reaction to the gimmick on dark matches/live events, or whether it is his new gimmick going forward.
