In a recent interview with Steve Fall for WrestlingNews.co, WWE SmackDown superstar Bobby Lashley discussed several topics, including how important WWE’s annual Tribute to the Troops special is to him.
“I think for some guys, it’s more important than others, I think some guys understand the importance of doing stuff for the troops, but then, some people that have been in the trenches that know the military, like I grew up in a military household, my Dad was 26 years, and my sisters, myself, we all went through the military, so it has a little bit of a special meaning to me, as well as a few other people that have been there.
Montez, one of my partners, he was in the Marines for a while, so just having the opportunity to tell the boys and girls, look we remember you guys, we look out for you guys, and we still have heart for you guys and we do anything for you guys. It’s a really cool event, and a good opportunity for us to pack the stadium and just put on a good show for the troops.”
