All Elite Wrestling star Bryan Danielson took part in the post-AEW All Out media scrum and discussed several topics, including his AEW All Out match against Ricky Starks, returning to the ring ahead of schedule, Blackpool Combat Club and more.

Danielson stated that Ricky Starks carried him through their match at All Out and said that he thought that Starks was good in the ring before, but that the two had never touched prior to their match, and that Starks is every bit as good as he thought he was, putting over Starks for using his promo on AEW Collision to help elevate Big Bill.

Danielson said that he was cleared to make an in-ring return not only by AEW’s medical staff, but also by an outside surgeon, and that in light of people being concerned for his health, he would pull back the curtain, noting that there were lots of smoke and mirrors in the match with Starks in order to protect his arm, noting that if you watch the match back, you’ll notice that he never threw a strike with his right arm.

Danielson discussed the Blackpool Combat Club and noted that they can straddle the line between being good guys and bad guys, depending on what the particular story that they are involved in calls for, and said that it was very hard to argue against Jon Moxley being the best wrestler in the world after stepping-up with another great performance in his match against Orange Cassidy.

Danielson addressed Tony Khan stated that he would be a point person to help run AEW if anything happened to Tony, and said that balancing work and his personal life is something that he strives for, and that he spends a lot of time thinking about, noting that he would want to help AEW out. Tony Khan noted that Danielson working AEW Collision on a Saturday would probably be good for that work and life balance and said that Danielson travelled with him for a few weeks and could not keep up with Khan’s schedule, which is when Danielson recommended that Khan hire Jimmy Jacobs to travel with him and help keep him organized.
