WWE announced during last night’s Monday Night RAW broadcast that Rey Mysterio will replace Rusev in the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match at this Thursday’s WWE Super Showdown event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The word making the rounds is that Rusev, whose contract status with the company is currently unknown, is citing a back issue as the reason he is unable to appear this Thursday.

This now means that the match will be AJ Styles vs. Erick Rowan vs. Rey Mysterio vs. R-Truth vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Andrade.
