– Plans for the WWE WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view on April 7th, 2013 were said to have been re-written in the past week or so, with major changes made to the event that it’s said that the only potential match that hasn’t been altered is Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H. The belief is that WWE are being cautious with injuries to top stars and being careful about booking ahead only for plans to backfire. There has been some discussion about how to use Sheamus at the event, with many pushing for him to either win the 2013 Royal Rumble or become the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Original plans for WrestleMania had Randy Orton facing off with Sheamus, so we’ll see if that happens down the line.

– Chris Jericho continues to be in negotiations with the WWE about a potential return to the company in the 2013. The feeling is that Jericho will work a similar schedule from his return to the WrestleMania 29 event.

– Speaking through his official Facebook account, Marty Jannetty noted that he will likely be retiring in 2013 writing, “In the near future(February) I will be touring Germany defending my German Heavyweight Championship(although I aint heavy, Im my brother) and in March, I’ll tour Europe, looking to become their Champion(will be in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France and Switzerland)..In April, I’ll be on a 14 day tour through Africa, starting in Nigeria finishing in Johannesburg ..After that, I believe I’ll go ahead and retire. Im sure I’ll have a hard time making myself do that, but..its time! So, while I know life isnt over after wrestling..Im going to make this the wildest craziest time of my life/career ever.. It’s been said that I’ve been wild, crazy and out of control in the past..ok, there may be some truth to that..but since this will be the last balla balla bye bye boom ..huh?, what the hell does that mean? – There is talk that WWE will be setting up a permanent developmental facility in the Orlando, Florida area in 2013, so that the company can be closer to Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

– There are many talent feeling that with several WWE NXT stars being called up to the main roster such as Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Big E. Langston and Brad Maddox, that they will need to up their game more to impress WWE officials.
