Former WWE Champion Chris Jericho, who publicly stated that he was done working with New Japan Pro Wrestling, is expected to appear at this week’s Wrestling Dontaku 2018 event in Fukuoka, Japan to shoot an angle leading to his return to the company, with him to wrestle at the NJPW Dominion 2018 event in Osaka, Japan next month, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that while it is currently unknown as to who Jericho will be feuding with, the expectation is that Jericho will continue his feud with current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito who Jericho attacked back in January of this year at the NJPW New Year’s Dash event, just one day after the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 pay-per-view.
