Last night The Rock returned to WrestleMania to announce that WWE had shattered their old record of attendance at WrestleMania, previously held by WrestleMania 3 with 93,173. WWE had announced the attendance was 101,763 fans inside AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 32.

According to Dave Meltzer on last night’s Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE actually drew under 100,000 fans. WWE still beat the attendance for WrestleMania 3, which has long been in debate, with over 93,000 fans, but under 94,000 fans in attendance.

WWE also announced that WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas became the highest grossing event in company history, bringing in $17.3 million.
