New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the 20 competitors for the 2015 G1 CLIMAX tournament during the finals of the 2015 Best of the Super Juniors tournament on New Japan World. The tournament begins on July 20th and finishes on August 16th.

The 20 names confirmed for the tournament are Kazuchika Okada, AJ Styles, Hirooki Goto, Togi Makabe, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima, Tetsuya Naito, Katsuyori Shibata, Shinsuke Nakamura, Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii, Yujiro Takahashi, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, Bad Luck Fale, Michael Elgin, Kota Ibushi and Tomoaki Honma.
